My Name is Dayonna Evelyn Tucker, born and raised in Harvey, Illinois (Chicago) in a house full of Black women – something like a Toni Morrison novel. I believe my purpose in this life is to help raise the vibration of the collective through my gifts and talents, one person at a time. I am a Performer, Musician, Garment Constructor, Costume/Fashion Designer, and Energy Healing Practitioner. I’ve taken my experiences and knowledge in each of these mediums to develop The Conduit Method: a process in introducing my clients to more of themselves. I identify as a conjure artist – defined as taking an artistic medium and fusing it with one’s religious/spiritual practices to bring about a change or shift in themselves, clients, their community, and/or the identity groups they are a part of.
I am an advocate and bridge towards authenticity for my clients. I support them in shining their lights, playing their note in the symphony of life, and staying in tune with their star players. In the words of Toni Cade Bambara, the most basic revolutionary unit is the individual. Everyone comes together to co-create the collective experience based on their internal landscape: the condition of the heart, body, mind, and spirit. With the modalities of energy healing, the principles of reality creation, and the boundlessness of fashion, I contribute to societal shifts on an individual level— that ultimately influence the wellbeing of us all.
